Never look a gift horse in the mouth! This week the boys look back at 1952’s ‘The Gift Horse’ starring Trevor Howard, who commands a ship given to the Royal Navy as part as the ‘Ships for British Bases’ agreement of 1940. The film tells the story of an unremarkable destroyer doing its bit when it’s thrust into a special role. We discuss the St Nazaire raid and also talk your favourite naval films!
