This week we speak to David Carson MBE and examine a classic British Army of the Rhine era training film from the mid 80’s, ‘The Unbroken Line‘. David served as the films historical and Military advisor.

The Unbroken Line‘ charts 300 years of the British Army’s history from Blenheim to the then-present day Cold War era. The film demonstrates the challenges and hardships faced by the British soldier throughout history. The film is extremely rare and luckily someone has uploaded a digitisation of an original VHS copy. This episode was adapted from a discussion we had on Robbie’s YouTube Channel back in 2021, check out the original video.
